Superhero RUN REGISTRATION
What are the registration options? There are two options - register an Individual or register a Group.
What is the minimum size for a Group or Team? The minimum size for a Group is two people. The maximum size is 50. For larger groups place email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I register children when I register?
Yes you can. We have a limited number of children places so you can only register 4 children. as we want to be fair to everyone. If you have a large group, get in touch email@example.com and we’ll see what we can do.
Can I register a team for others to join? Yes. During the registration process you will be given options to register a new team or join a team that has already been registered.
Do I have to be part of a team to take part? No not at all.
Can I run for a Charity? Yes you can run for any charity of your choice, but it is not a condition of taking part. Do let us know who you are running for and we will add to our social media comms. Our 2019 chosen charity is the Fountain of Peace
How much is a Superhero in the City running place? Each Santa in the City running place costs £24 + registration booking fee.
How much is the booking fee? The registration booking fee is from £2.40 per running place.
How old do I need to be to enter? Runners must be over 8yrs old to enter. All runners between 8yrs - 16yrs are free, but must accompanied by an adult. They will receive a superhero mask only.
If I pay for a place and then find I can't do the run, what are my options?
You have three options in this event they are:
Option 1 - Transfer your place to another person by emailing the event team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please put 'TRANSFER' in the title of the email and Include your name, runner confirmation number and the person who will be taking your place.
Option 2 - Defer your place to 2020 by email by emailing the event team at email@example.com. Please put 'DEFER 20' in the title of the email and Include your name, runner confirmation number in the email.
Option 3 - If it is 30days before the event you are entitled to a refund. To get a refund please email the Superhero event team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please put 'REFUND' in the title of the email and Include your name, runner confirmation number in the email.
What does a Superhero Outfit consist of? Superhero Outfits consists of a cape and mask coloured to match the colours of the superhero you choose to run as. These are all subject to availability and will do our best to get the superhero outfit you have chosen.
Can I get my Superhero Outfit before the day of the event? Yes we will be releasing information on 1st April about where and when you can get your superhero outfit in advance.
Can I order extra Superhero Outfits? Yes, you can! They are available at a cost of £10.00 and can be purchased when you register or on the day of the event.
Are children’s Superhero Outfits available? Yes, we do supply children’s superhero outfits, which are available for children on the day. these can not be chosen in advance. Children are welcome to wear their own superhero outfit.
ON THE DAY OF THE Superhero RUN
What time can I check-in on the day? You can check-in and collect your superhero outfit from 12pm on the day of the event, 13th June 2019.
Can I leave a bag at the Superhero check-in desk? Yes there will be a bag storage area, but all bags and other items left in this area are left completely at the owners risk. The organisers will not be help responsible for any damage, loss or theft that occurs to any bags. Any bags left outside this area could be removed and destroyed. The bag storage area is open from 5pm - 9.30pm after which all bags could be removed and destroyed.
Can I run for my own charity of choice? Absolutely and we encourage as many of you as possible to select a charity to run for. Do let us know who it is and we can feature the name of the charity in our social media communications.
